Miller Construction has been appointed to the Aberdeenshire Council’s framework which is part of the delivery of a multi-million pound capital programme over the next three years.
Miller Construction is one of five contractors to be awarded a place on the framework. The capital programme will see the delivery of new build schools, leisure facilities, care homes, recycling centres, offices, industrial and factory units.
Chris Webster, Chief Executive, Miller Construction, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to the Aberdeenshire Council’s framework. This framework is in line with our strategy to further develop our presence in the North East of Scotland whilst focussing on our chosen markets. We are currently on site at Robert Gordon University delivering phase one of its new Garthdee campus and over the last three years have established ourselves as a major contractor in the area through the delivery of Union Square, IQ and City Wharf.
Our appointment to the framework can be partly attributed to the quality of projects already delivered in Aberdeen and the Shire. Being familiar with the framework structure we appreciate this potential opportunity to work in close collaboration with the Council.”
